Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev will make his first appearance in the project “Cycle of concerts of all-Russian and international competitions laureates in the regions of Russia.”

On 1 October, in Syktyvkar (Komi Republic) a concert of young talented musicians will take place within the framework of the project “Cycle of concerts of all-Russian and international competitions laureates in the regions of Russia”. The concert is organized on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and with the support of the Federal State Budgetary Institution ROSCONCERT.

Pianist Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev, laureate of the Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors (II prize, Moscow, 2022), will first take part in the events of the project “Cycle of concerts of all-Russian and international competitions laureates in the regions of Russia.”

The event will take place at the State Opera and Ballet Theater of the Komi Republic. Among the participants of the concert – laureates of the All-Russian musical competition Konstantin Suchkov (baritone) and Vasily Stepanov (cello). Also, the soloist of the State Opera and Ballet Theater of the Komi Republic Anastasia Morarash and the Symphony Orchestra of the State Opera and Ballet Theater of the Komi Republic will take part in the event. Conductor – Roman Denisov. The concert program will include: Cello Concerto in E minor, op. 85 by E. Elgar, Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, op.37 by L. van Beethoven, arias from operas by G. Donizetti and N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov.

Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev is a laureate of the Scriabin International Piano Competition, Grieg Piano Competition, international piano competitions in Cleveland and Sydney. He is awarded with the prestigious Premio Chigiana (2017). The pianist tours in Europe and Asia, as well as in the USA – his concerts took place at Carnegie Hall in New York, Severance Hall in Cleveland and at other famous venues. The pianist performed with the Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and other orchestras.
