Alexander Tchaikovsky was born in 1946 in Moscow. In 1972 he graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (composition class of T. Khrennikov, piano classes of H. Neuhaus and L. Naumov), then graduated from post-graduate studies (under T. Khrennikov). He is the prize-winner at the International Composition Competition at the Hollybush Festival in New Jersey (1985).
Actively involved in teaching, conducts master classes in the USA, Canada, and Germany, and serves on jurie at major music competitions. Has written critical articles for various musical journals. Was composer-in-residence at the Kissinger Sommer Festival (Germany, 1988) and the Nova Scotia festival (Canada, 1995).
Since 1977 he has taught at the Composition Division at the Moscow Conservatory (Professor from 1993 and Head of Department from 1997). Member of the Union of Composers of the USSR (subsequently of Russia), Honorary Chair since 2017. In 2002 he established the music festival Youth Academies of Russia. Has been a professor in the Department of Special Composition and Improvisation at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory and its rector from 2005 to 2008. Artistic Director of the Moscow State Philharmonic Society since 2003. Vice-President of the Authors’ Council of the Russian Authors’ Society (since 2017).
Composer of fourteen operas: Tsar Nikita and His Forty Daughters, The Three Musketeers, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, The Violist Danilov, Chess King, Yermak, the ballets The Government Inspector, Battleship Potemkin, oratorios, Russian Requiem, four symphonies, musicals, chamber pieces, as well as music for cinema, TV and theatre productions.
Recipient of several state prizes and rewards; awarded the Order of Friendship.

Yuri Bashmet’s creative work has infinitely expanded the viola repertoire, moreover, more than 50 viola concertos and other pieces were written especially for him. For the first time in the world performing practice, Yuri Bashmet gave solo viola concerts at the world’s largest concert halls: Carnegie Hall (New York), The Royal Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), The Barbican Hall (London), The Berliner Philharmonie, La Scala (Milan), the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, as well as in Munich, Boston, Chicago, Osaka, Lisbon, and others. He has worked with many outstanding conductors: R. Kubelik, M. Rostropovich, S. Ozawa, V. Gergiev, G. Rozhdestvensky, sir J. E. Gardiner, Y. Menuhin, Ch. Dutoit, K. Masur, B. Haitink, K. Nagano, sir S. Rattle, Y. Temirkanov, N. Harnoncourt.
In 1985 he began his conductor`s practice. As a soloist and conductor, Yuri Bashmet performs with the best world orchestras: Berlin, Vienna, New York Philharmonic Orchestras, the Bavarian Radio Orchestra, the French Radio Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestras of San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston.
Yuri Bashmet is the artistic director of 15 festivals in 8 countries. He is the Founder of the first and only International Viola Competition in Russia.
In 2012, he founded the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra. Yuri Bashmet is a professor, Head of the Viola Department of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and the Honorary Academician of the London Academy of Arts.
He is the recipient of various awards and regalia from Russia as well as from other nations: State Prizes of the USSR and Russia, Order For Merit to the Fatherland, the National Order of the Legion of Honor (France), the highest Order of the Republic of Lithuania, the Order Commendatore republica Italiano.

Valery Voronov was born in Moscow in 1970. In 1995 he graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music (composition class of Prof. D. Smolsky), studied at the Academy of Music in Cologne (composition class of Prof. K. Meyer, electronic composition class of Prof. H. Humpert), participated in G. Katzer and D. Crumb master classes.
Laureate of the I prize of the International Werner-Richard- Stifftung Composer`s Contest (Germany, 2001), I Prize of the W. Lutoslawski Composer`s Contest (Warsaw, 2001), winner of the VIII International Composer`s Contest Days of New Music in Vienna (2002), Pythian Games (2005, 2011, St. Petersburg), Schiedmeyer Celesta Prize (2009), Da capo Prize of the IV Brandenburg Biennale of Contemporary Art (2010).
Fellow of the Association of Contemporary Liturgical Music in Tübingen (2003). Resident composer of the Festival of Nations (2004, Germany).
Valery Voronov participated in international festivals and forums, such as Warsaw Autumn, Vienna Summer Seminar of New Music, Biennale of New Music in Germany, Gaudeamus Music Week in Amsterdam, Dresden Days of Contemporary Music, Sound Paths (St. Petersburg), Zèppelin 04 (Barcelona), Aspekte (Salzburg), Winter International Art Festival in Sochi and others.

Do Hong Quan was born in 1956 in Hanoi into a family of musicians. His father, Do Nhuan, was a famous Vietnamese composer.
He studied piano at the Vietnamese National Conservatory school. Graduated with honours from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, in the composition class of Prof. A. Lehman, then from the postgraduate course in composition, and followed a conducting course under Prof. L. Nikolaev. Improved his skills in both specialties at the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance.
Beginning his professional career in Hanoi in 1986, Do Hong Quan has served as the Head of the Department of the Vietnam Opera-Ballet House, Vice-Director of the Hanoi Youth Theatre, and head of the musical editorial office of the Voice of Vietnam on the radio, Vice President of the Alliance of Arts and Literature Associations of Vietnam, deputy chairman of the Central Council for Literature and Art Studies, chairman of the Association of musicians of Vietnam (2005-2021). Currently, he is the chairman of the Alliance of Arts and Literature Associations of Vietnam.
Do Hong Quan is the author of theatrical, symphonic, chamber, and choral music. The most famous of his operas are Red Leaf, ballets The Mists and The moment of immortality, Rhapsody Vietnam, Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, Symphonic Fantasy Open Land, and some others. He composes music for films, and so far, he has received awards from national film festivals.
He is the Laureate of the State Music Prize.
Do Hong Quan worked with the Great State Symphony Orchestra of Vietnam, the Russian State Symphony Cinema Orchestra, the symphony orchestras of the Tashkent State Opera Theatre, and the National University of Columbia, the Shanghai Conservatory, the Hanoi Conservatory, and others.
Mikhail Kokzhaev

Composer, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia
Mikhail Kokzhaev was born in 1946 in Baku. He graduated from the Baku Conservatoire named after Hajibeyov in 1971. A prominent Armenian composer, the author of five symphonies, a number of instrumental concerts with an orchestra, orchestral pieces, four string quartets, chamber–ensemble, choral, vocal, piano pieces. One of the most significant of his works is the Requiem (Lux Aeterna) for Symphony Orchestra and Choir on canonical Latin texts, in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Professor of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan (since 1998), teaches at the Composition and Music Theory departments. His academic activity is aimed at studying the fundamental laws of the musical space, as well as at developing methods of informal analysis of musical works. Mikhail Kokzhaev is the author of a number of books and scientific works, including Topology of musical space, Alexander Harutyunyan. Pecularities of the composer’s style.
He was awarded the First Prize at the Aram Khachaturian competition for the best cello Concerto (1993).
Mikhail Kokzhaev’s works were performed in Yerevan, Tbilisi, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Murmansk, Odessa, Chisinau, Riga, Vilnius, Baku, in cities of France, Holland, Germany, South Korea and published in Armenia, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, USA.

Was born in 1948, in the Semipalatinsk region. Graduated from the Semipalatinsk State Pedagogical Institute as a historian. Followed his composition studies at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory under G. Zhubanova, had his postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory.
He is the author of symphonies, the symphonic poem Makhambet, the opera Aldar Koseand the rock opera Жерyұйыkұ (The Promised Land), romances, musical comedies, compositions for choir, chamber ensembles, music for theater and cinema.
His songs were performed by such famous singers as A. Dnishev, R. Rymbaeva, I. Ponarovskaya, N. Usenbayeva, S. Piekha, L. Serebrennikov, the band Na-Na.
Author of poetry collections. Member of the World Organization The World Poets society.
He taught at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. In 1987 he was Director of the Abay Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, director of the Astana Opera (2012-2014). Since 1990, conducts the international competition Asia Dauysy, the World Congress of Spiritual Accord, the World Forum of Spiritual Accord, charity events. Since 2011 — President of the International Public Foundation Congress of Spiritual Accord.
Deputy Akim of Astana (1998-2004), deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2004-2007), Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament (2007-2012). Alexander Radvilovich was born in 1955 in Leningrad. He graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in the composition class of S. Slonimsky, and later interned at the composer`s workshops in Germany, Holland, and Poland. He is a Member of the Union of Composers and a Professor at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. He is the first Russian composer who taught at the Darmstadt courses. Alexander Radvilovich is the Jury Member of Russian and foreign competitions for composers. He holds a PhD in Art History and is author of the book The toolkit of New Music as well as a number of articles. Radvilovich is the Founder and the Artistic Director of the International New Music Festival Sound Ways. He is a winner of international competitions in Switzerland and Germany and a holder of numerous awards. In 2007 Alexander Radvilovich was awarded Person of the Year in the Composer category by the newspaper Music Review.
Among his opuses there are four symphonies; three instrumental concerts; the opera Such a Life to the texts of D. Kharms; The Passion of Judas based on the text of the Apocryphon; anti-utopia Big Brotherto the words of J. Orwell, E. Zamyatin, O. Huxley, and G. Alexey Rybnikov was born in 1945 in Moscow. In 1967 he graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory, then graduated from the postgraduate course (composition class of A. Khachaturian).
He is the author of six symphonies, four operas, including the rock operas The Star and the Death of Joaquin Murieta, Juno and Avos, dramatic opera Le Prince André, the musical mystery The Liturgy of the Catechumens, two ballets, instrumental concertos, music for more than 150 films, including: The Very Same Munchausen (by M. Zakharov), Andersen. Life without Love (by E. Ryazanov), The Priest (by V. Khotinenko), The Adventures of Pinocchio and About the Little Red Riding Hood (by L. Nechayev), and others.
Alexey Rybnikov is the winner of all national awards and prizes in the field of cinema music: Nika, Golden Aries, Golden Eagle, and Kinotavr.
His music is performed by the best orchestras and conductors including V. Gergiev, V. Fedoseyev, A. Sladkovsky, T. Currentzis, H. Andreescu (Romania), O. Koch (Germany) etc. Classical works were performed by O. Kagan, Y. Bashmet, E. Mechetina, A. Knyazev, B. Andrianov, and others.
Alexey Rybnikov is the artistic director of two Musical Theaters, Chairman of the Union of Composers of Russia, member of the Presidium of the Council of the President of the Russian Federation for Culture and Art, Vice–President of the Authors’ Council of Russian Authors’ Society. Laureate of the State Prize and the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation. He was awarded state and church awards: the Order of Friendship, the Order of Honour, the Order For Merit to the Fatherland IV class, and others.
