Deadline for applications extended until April 1

The Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors extended the application’s acceptance until April 1, 2022.
The competition invites pianists at least 16 and no older than 32 years (inclusive by the Competition Opening), conductors – up to 45 years old, composers – without age restrictions. After a qualifying round (based on video applications), the maximum number of participants in the live rounds will be 24 pianists, 24 conductors, and 12 composers.

The Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors was established in 2021 on the eve of the 150th birth celebration of the composer and the Year of Music in the Russian Federation in 2023. The competition will be held from June 14 to June 27, 2022, in Moscow at the venues of the Moscow State Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Hall, and Rachmaninoff Concert Hall (Philharmonia-2). The official opening will take place on June 15 at the Great Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory.
