The Rachmaninoff competition canceled entry fee

To simplify the process of application acceptance, the organizers of the Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors decided not to charge entry fee for participation this year. All fees, that have been transferred previously, will be refunded.
Thus, to participate in the qualifying round, one should fill an application, attach the necessary documents and video recordings of his performance filmed for the Competition. Participants for Composition section provide their scores – new, previously not published and not performed. Applications are accepted until April 1, 2022.

The Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors was established in 2021 on the eve of the 150th birth celebration of the composer and the Year of Music in the Russian Federation in 2023. The competition will take place in Moscow from June 14 to June 27, 2022. Pianists are to perform in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, conductors – in the Tchaikovsky Hall, “composition” rounds will be held in the Rachmaninov Hall (Philharmonia-2). The official opening will take place on June 15 at the Moscow State Conservatory.
