The Grand Opening of the II Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors Takes Place on June 14 in Moscow
On June 14 at 19:00, the Great Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory will host the gala opening of the II Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors.

This spectacular opening concert will feature the competition’s Artistic Director, People's Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev (piano), and Honored Artist of Russia Ildar Abdrazakov (bass). Conducting the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra will be the Chairman of the Conducting Jury, People's Artist of Russia Valery Gergiev. The evening’s program includes vocal, piano, and orchestral works by Sergei Rachmaninoff.
The II Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors will be held from June 14 to June 26, 2025.
All events of the competition will be available via live stream on the official competition website and the official community page on VKontakte.
The competition is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and organized by ROSCONCERT.
