Participants in the specialty “Piano” chose pianos for competitive rounds
The selection of pianos took place in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Instruments from Steinway & Sons, Yamaha and Kawai were submitted to the competition.
Most of the participants chose the Steinway & Sons piano: Anastasia Makhamedrikova, Alexey Trushechkin, Konstantin Khachikyan, Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolayev, Andrey Ivanov, Valentin Malinin, Boao Zhang, Ivan Bessonov, Philipp Lynov, Dmitry Sin, Philipp Rudenko, Anna Grot, Xuanyi Mao.
Yamaha was chosen by: Marina Yakhlakova, Stanislav Korchagin, Gleb-Joseph Romanchukevich, Lyubov Glazova, Estefan Vergara Iatcekiw, Anton Yashkin, Ilya Papoyan, Eva Gevorgyan, Alexander Klyuchko.
Kawai was prefered by Lingfei Xie and Yuanheng Zhu.
