Moscow Conservatory Great Hall to host Rachmaninoff-gala

Rachmaninoff Competition winners to open the new concert season

September 1, 2022, winners of the Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors, whose grand opening has taken place in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, are to take the stage one more time. The concert will feature pianists Aleksandr Kliuchko (1st prize and gold medal), Arseny Tarasevich-Nikolaev (2nd prize and silver medal), Eva Gevorgyan (3rd prize and bronze medal) and Konstantin Khachikyan (3rd prize and bronze medal).

Concert program: Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 36; Études-Tableaux, Op. 33 (2-3, 6) and 39 (1, 3, 5); Eight Preludes, Op. 32 (1-3, 5, 10-13); Moment musicaux, Op. 16 (6) by Sergei Rachmaninoff; Waltz, Op. 38, by Alexander Scriabin.
