Tickets sale for the events of the Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors is opened
On 15 June, in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory there will be a grand opening with a gala concert of the Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors.
The following events are to take place at the conservatory: all the rounds in the specialty “Piano”, the draw of participants, which will determine the order of their performances throughout the competition, and the choice of pianos (June 14).
16 – 18 June – Round I
19 – 20 June – Round II
22 June – Round III, stage 1 (romances)
24 – 26 June – Round III, stage 2 (concerts for piano and orchestra)
On 27 June, the Gala Concert of the winners of the S.V. Rachmaninoff Competition is also to be held in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
Tickets for the Grand Opening, the Gala Concert of the laureates and all competitive rounds in the specialty “Piano” can be purchased at the ticket office of the Moscow Conservatory and on the website mosconsv.ru.
The conductors will perform at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. The auditions for the first two rounds will be held in the format of open rehearsals with orchestra, where each participant must prepare two musical works of the competition program together with the team. Round III will be held in the format of a concert performance, and the works for each participant will be determined by drawing lots.

Tickets for all the three rounds in the specialty “Conducting” can be purchased at the ticket offices of the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Rachmaninov Concert Hall and on the website meloman.ru.
Participants in the specialty “Composition” will present their works in The Small Hall of Moscow Conservatory and the Rachmaninov Concert Hall (Philarmonia-2). Unlike pianists and conductors, they will have one intramural round consisting of two stages. At the 1st stage, works for solo piano will be performed, at the 2nd stage works for piano and orchestra will be performed.
