Musicians from 16 Countries to Take Part in the II Rachmaninoff International Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors

25 pianists will compete in the first round: Baek Jinjoo, Wang Shiqin, Villalva Alessandro, Vishnevskiy Vladimir, Vladimirov Timofey, Glazova Lyubov, Dazhaeva Anisa, Yelaman Ernur, Klyuchereva Elizaveta, Knyazev Alexander, Kutuzov Alexander, Liao Tinghong, Matsuhashi Ryota, Ming Rui, Nicholson Leah, Rudenko Filipp, Skomorokhov Vladimir, Sugimoto Saori, Jin Yuhé, Kutuzov Alexander, Qi Ziming, Chepkin Ivan, Zhang Boao, Zhou Noah, Zhu Yuanheng, Yun Xuhua.

15 composers will take part: Babintsev Maksim, Bolovlyonkov Aleksey, Vishnevsky Boris, García Hormigo José Manuel, Dai Yongbing, Ziganova Galina, Kalmaganbetov Dastan, Kiprsky Eduard, Krasheninnikov Aleksey, Lin Jiajie, Nesterova Svetlana, Siniakova Nina, Xiao Jinhan, Tolosa Almazán José Antonio, Cao Xu.
Conducting Category
25 conductors have been invited: Aslanov Aleksei, Biulbiul Murtuza, Demidovich Iurii, Dessi Filippo, Draksler Tilen, Zaboiarkin Iaroslav, Sauer Benedikt, Kim San, Kurbonaliev Boburzhon, Liao Brian, Mann Nicolas, Márquez Pérez (Colomé) José, Mina Díaz Christopher, Pop Luca, Sun Yixing, Szeto Kin, Torbeev Anton, Whitehead Edmund, Hu Xiaobo, Khudyakov Oleg, Khudyakov-Vedenyapin Ivan, Zou Jiahung, Tsinman Nikolai, Shnitkin Anton, Yang Xinjie.
The II Rachmaninoff International Competition will take place in Moscow from June 14 to 26, 2025. The Artistic Director of the Competition is People's Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev, who also chairs the Jury for the Piano category.
The Jury for the Conducting category is chaired by Valery Gergiev, People’s Artist of Russia, while the Composition Jury is led by Alexander Tchaikovsky, also a People’s Artist of Russia.
All performances will be streamed live on the official website of the Competition and through its official VKontakte community.
